Hi

Still chasing my Gage and Lazarus ancestors - if anyone can help?

I have William Lazarus living with his wife Elizabeth Lazarus (nee Gage) in Brook Street - Bampton in 1871 .
I can find no trace of a marriage - then no sign of Elizabeths death. William was born in 1816 and Elizabeth in 1836 - or so they say and William was Ag Labourer - Carrier - Marine Store Dealer.

I would love any information on these people - or in fact the Bampton they lived in - or if there is a Jewish connection ? Is this why I can't find a marriage?
