Hi Richard, Paul and others

I can only find one Edwin, son of Joseph & Ann Chown, as previously
indicated. Sidbury geographically includes part of Salcombe Regis parish,
among it Harcombe and Roncombe farms on the Eastern ridge. The family must
have crossed the parish boundary at some time, because here they are at
Sidbury parish registers
1819

Jan 13 Eliza daughter of Joseph & Annamaria Chown Sidbury Farmer

1821

Feb 23 James son of Joseph & Anna Maria Chown Sidbury Farmer

and at Salcombe Regis

1823

Dec 25 Edwin son of Joseph & Anne Chown Harcombe Butcher



I'm sorry, no sign of John & Bathsheba. I have a John & Anna Chown in
Sidbury with baptisms for the same period but no other Edwin baptised in
either parish
