Hello again! You never know who you will meet on these lists!
My friend's family hopes that there is a family connection in the way you
suggest with one or both of these surnames rather than a naming which was
just in recognition of an important local family.
I guess it's just a matter of working gradually backwards to find when the
names first occur.
