Hi there
You may have received an unfinished email...this seems to happen to me
too often! What I'd like to know, please, where are people born in Bigbury
be baptised. I have a Susan Gilbert, born Bigbury, Father Nicholas Gilbert,
Mother Annys Whatever, but where was she baptised? Whether the date 1528 for
her marriage in St Mary Major, Exeter, is the truth, is anybody's guess. I
think it's one of those names that disappeared in Exeter Cathedral during
the bombing in 1942. With my luck it would be! No...I emailed Exeter; that
turned out to be a lemon. Frankly, I can't find Nicholas either.
