Subject: Struggling! Devon family in London, help needed but off topic,

Can anyone help me? I have three brothers from Totnes that show up in
London for the census's. Samuel and Hannah Effer and their family, William and
Matilda Effer and their family and Edmund RH Effer, sometimes known as Robert
(1901, Penge) and his family.

Anyway in 1891 I have a Charles Effer, age 39 from Bromley, his wife and
four children. I am trying to connect Charles to one of the above families, I
suspect that he is the son of Edmund but cannot prove it.

If anyone has an ancestry subscription and time on their hands (!) could you
please help me to find Charles in earlier census? The Effer name has been
transcribed badly...broad Devon accents being mis understood I imagine, it has
shown up as Epper, Esser...Effer, Efer

All help appreciated, but any replies off list please as I realise this is
no longer a Devon interest.
