Subject: Occupation serge manufacturer

Thank-you to all that responded to my query. Someone earlier today posted
they found George Pearse in a trade directory with his occupation listed as
Serge manufacturer and Liquor dealer. A strange combination, which leads me
to think the serge part, might be something else besides cloth. Nothing else
seems to be turning up.
