I have a problem with one of my ancestors I'm hoping someone can help me
with.

I have my great grandfather, William Thomas Rymes death certificate. He
died February 15, 1898 Lower Shepps, Halliford, Shepperton, Middlesex,
England cause of death: influenza 6 days, acute pneumonia 6 days,
cardiac arrest.
Annie Ashton, sister present at death, 72 Upper Kensington Lane, London.


Here lays my problem. I can't find any record of Annie Aston that
matches. I've found Annie M. Ashton on the 1881 census but she was
born in London, Middlesex, England. His sister was Ann M. Rymes who was
born 1854 in Totnes Devon, England.

I did find a source a few days ago that seems to ring truer for Ann and
that is a record that she marred Robert Thomas Shillabeer.

This is what I found:
ROBERT THOMAS SHILLABEER was born April 01, 1852 in Asprington, Devon,
England, and died 1918 in East Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon, England. He
married ANN MARIA RYMES February 15, 1880 in St. Andrew's Church,
Plymouth, Devon, England. She was born Abt. 1854 in Totnes, Devon,
England, and died WFT Est. 1896-1949.

Children of ROBERT SHILLABEER and ANN RYMES are:
i. ALICE MADELAINE4 SHILLABEER, b. Abt. 1890, East
Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon, England; d. WFT Est. 1920-1984; m. WILLIAM
ARTHUR THOMAS, December 29, 1915, St. George, Stonehouse, Plymouth,
Devon, England; b. Bef. 1900; d. WFT Est. 1921-1991.
ii. BEATRICE EMELINE SHILLABEER, b. Abt. 1894, East
Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon, England; d. WFT Est. 1923-1988; m. ROBERT
CLARKE, 1918; b. Bef. 1903; d. WFT Est. 1924-1994.

I've sent away for the marriage certificate which hopefully will clear
this up.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
