It may only be a weak link Jan but the Pratt name appears to be south-east
based..I'm researching it in Essex for part of my own tree...and have found
lots of Pratts in Essex (say nothing you lot!)..which may explain the London
births.

If you think I can help come back to me ..I have all the Pratt's from the
1851 Harwich census area if they might be any help..they seem to come from a
widespread area around the peripheries of London and wwre sent to me by a
lovely helpful chap on the Essex list.

I haven't put them on my site yet as they are still needing a lot more
research but shout if you want the ones I have.

Am interested to know if anyone has any information on the following. In the
Torquay Cemetery there is a burial in 1877 for Susannah BALSOM - also in the
grave are Clara Edith Balsom PRATT aged 7 months buried 13 July 1865 and
Clara Edith PRATT aged 37 years buried 24 December 1864. Grave purchased by
William Henry PRATT on 29 March 1877 ????(according to the information I
have been given). I was checking out these Pratt dates at the LDS today and
both deaths are registered in Kensington. Are these people included in
anyone elses tree/ does anyone know of a Marriage? Any ideas most
acceptable - very many thanks - Ciao Jan Balsom.
