Hello List: I emailed the above record office for their holdings on
Naval burials and the following is their reply.
...Royal Naval Hospital Burial ground, which is in the parish of
St George East Stonehouse. There are transcriptions of the stones from
1870-1898 and a register from 1888-1966. We have burial registers for Stoke
Damerel to cover the whole period you are interested in.
Is there somone on the list who would be able to search the Royal Naval Hospital Burials and Stoke Dameral for John Thornborough, a Greenwich Pensioner who died after 1861. Thanks in advance. Glenys
