Hello Jane
The church of Clyst St George (near Exeter) and all their registers were
destroyed by bombing in 1941. However, before that happened the Parish
Register Society (Vol 25) had published a transcription and the IGI entries
for this parish are from that transcription. If you can get the LDS film for
Clyst St George through one of their Family History Centres you may be lucky
enough to find that the transcriber recorded the names of the witnesses.
Incidentally there will not be the names of the father's of the bride and
groom as these do not appear pre civil registration July 1837.
