I have the name COMER in my tree: my ggg grandfather John NEEDELL married
Ann COMER in Southwark, Surrey, in 1823. I believe her parents were Henry
COMER, a painter, and Mary (surname unknown), and she and her sisters Ann,
Sarah and Elizabeth (no unusual names there!) were born in Southwark
between 1789 and 1797. Henry may have had a brother Joseph.

I can't trace Henry any further back in Surrey, but I see that there are
quite a few COMERs in Devon on the IGI. Does anyone have a possible link to
him?
