Name Game Road: Brian Zelley

As we travel down Name Game road in the towns and hamlets of Anywhere,
Devon, we have recently been introduced to the likes of the HENWOOD
family, John (the carpenter) WALTER and Thomas (the politician)
GIBBONS.

HENWOOD
Josiah (the bread baker) HENWOOD, from Tavistock, stopped for a short
time period in Cornwall before travelling to Berkshire with wife
Caroline and daughter.

Then we have one Robert HENWOOD from Cornwall who resided in the
Plymouth area. Neighbors included the likes of Richard (the bootmaker)
EDWARDS and James (the mason) DOIDGE.. And the children of Hampton
street would be pleased to see Sarah DAVIS, the toy dealer.

The widow Mary HENWOOD was a sewer. Of interest, daughter Lily was
born in Kent. Neighbors were Miss KELLAND and Ellen BLAKE (the
dressmakers) and James SIMMONS, the tailor. But, not to be forgotten is
Kent born Julia HONEYCHURCH and her boarders.

GIBBONS

Thomas GIBBONS was just one of a number of folks with the GIBBONS name.
Another was James GIBBONS, the mariner from Exmouth, and family
including the likes of Robert George Baker GIBBONS and Jessie Agnes
Dobie GIBBONS. Some of the folks in the neighborhood were Captain
LUXMORE, coachmen John PENNY and Henry DOWN, and John (the fisherman)
NORTON.
