I have recently been trying to find a Thomas FOOT born c. 1851 and with
the help of Myra have a census entry in 1851 for a Thomas aged 2 mths.

Luke Gassien has very kindly helped me to establish that his father,
John FOOT, blacksmith of Horrabridge, aged 37 in 1851 may have married a
Mary Ann ? THOMPSON (guessed at from the middle name of several of their
children) c. 1835/36.

John FOOT stated he was from Buckland Monochorum and Mary Ann from
Lamerton, though their marriage was not conducted there - nor are there
any THOMPSON events at Lamerton. Searches of Free BMD and the IGI have
not found them (few of the Tiverton area parishes being on the IGI).

I will be contacting some of the OPCs for surrounding areas direct, but
thought I would first throw this out to this eternally helpful list in
case any of you have an interest in this family.

I would like to find the marriage of John FOOT and Mary Ann and their
families of origin through their baptisms.
