Here's a possibility.

The online IGI shows a Thomas Hill married Mary Modridge at Heavitree,
Exeter, 10 December 1805.

Baptisms to Thomas and Mary at Heavitree are:

Sarah 11 Jan 1807

then a big gap (during which your Sowton Thomas, 1811 and Ann, 1814 were
baptised)

Mary 13 April 1817
John 25 Dec 1820
William 25 Aug 1822
James 31 Oct 1824
