This message is from RootsWeb and is an FYI explaining why the DEVON
archives located at <http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/DEVON/>;
have not been updating.

ARCHIVER is having a few operating system problems that are going to
require a rebuild of some of the hard disks. To facilitate this
process we have turned off the inbound mail to the threaded archives
and we are currently getting a fresh backup of the server.

After the server is rebuilt we will feed the mail to the archives
which may take a day or two to repopulate. That time will depend on
the amount of incoming mail now and when we repopulate.

I am not sure of the time that this will all take so I have made a
wild guess at three days. More information as it comes to hand.

Text of message at HelpDesk says

"Mail List Archives: 2003-05-07
The server that houses the threaded archives of our mailing lists
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ will be under going maintenance in the
imminent future. To prepare for this maintenance, we are not further
populating the archives with new messages, ie. messages from 7 May
onwards, until following the maintenance.
Est. downtime: 3 day(s)"
