Hello Sue: If there is a Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Family History Centre in
Perth or Fremantle, you can buy a copy of the 1851 census for Devon on CDRom
from them very cheaply. Last time I looked it was about A$8.50. They also
have the complete 1891 English census for sale. It's somewhat more expensive
since it's for the whole country. If you use your search engine you can find
the LDS-FH Centre addresses. I use Google. There's a Centre here in Sydney
and I suspect Melbourne and Adelaide also have one. I go to my local Centre
quite a lot. It's a very friendly place where you get lots of help and
nobody has ever tried to turn me into a Mormon while I've been using their
record collections. I must say, they're a very pleasant welcoming group and
take their genealogy very seriously. Hope this is helpful, Mike.
