HILL family of SHILSTON, TAWSTOCK, FREMINGTON

Searching for any information on the HILL family of SHILSTON near Modbury in
the 15th Century. Robert Hill married Margaret Champernowne in 1417 and
they had a number of children.

Around 1600 the Hills were forced to sell their estates at Shilston and
moved to TAWSTOCK near Barnstaple. The Hills were established at Tawstock
by the 1650's, including Phillip Hill and his wife Joan; their children were
Charles b1660, Phillip b1661, Mary and Ann b1663, and Edward b1666.

Later descendents included Charles Hill, vicar of Fremington 1725-73, and
his son Charles, rector of Tawstock 1756-1801.

My connection is that it is believed that Mary Hill b1663 married William
KITSON of PAINSFORD near Ashprington in 1698 - but I do not know where they
were married nor do I have any details on the birth date and location and
parents of William Kitson.

Any assistanse or leads on the above would be appreciated.
