There are at least 3 CE photos ( not on listed site) of Devon on this
site of mine on Devon:
http://www.geocities.com/PicketFence/1704/Devon.html
I think I also have a few more somewhere I took while over there.

Hi, whilst working on a new page for my own web site about the churches
chapels etc in Torquay I found this one which I thought may be useful to

some of our listers.

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/3033/churches.html
although a lot of the details are just names of churches the following
ones
are of note

St. Petrock (CE), Newton St. Petrock. Surnames in churchyard

St. Michael & All Angels (CE) Norman door and Elizabethan or Jacobean
oak
pulpit, renovated in 1872, Shebbear, Devon. Surnames in churchyard

St. John the Baptist (CE) rebuilt about 1460, some restoration 1884 to
1889
on roof, pews, pulpit, Marldon, Devon. Surnames in churchyard

St. Bartholomews (CE) Bow, Devon. Surnames in churchyard

St. Andrew (CE) The arcades of the aisles were rebuilt in 1765 and 1816,
a
fire in 1933 destroyed the interior roofs of the nave and S. aisle and
these
are therefore new, register dates from 1538, Colyton, Devon. Monuments
in
church

St. Andrew(CE) ref. in 1170, restored and enlarged in 1330, the middle
of
the next century enlarged again, Colebrooke, Devon. See Photograph taken

by
Barry Turner (1997)Surnames in churchyard

All Saints, Langtree, Devon.Surnames in churchyard

where it says Surnames in churchyard there is aalink to a page listing
the
names.
