Hi everyone, I am new to the list.

I am researching my father's family GRIGG. I recently was looking at the 1901 census and came across a great uncle who I had lost track of.
He is:
FRED (bapt. Frederick) GRIGG b. 2 Dec. 1866 Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
On the 1901 census he is a publican living at Southleigh, Devon. I don't know if he was married, ( because I did not like to chance my credit card on line) or had a family. I would like to find out more about him. At that time would there just have been one pub in Southleigh (was it a village or small town?).

Does anyone have Trade Directory of 1901 that might mention the pub. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Beryl
