I have also been unable to find 2 of my families - common names of DAVEY - I
typed in all details and no persons found! I know both families were in
Cornwall (also tried Devon) as I have birth certificate information. any
ideas?

On a brighter note have managed to find several new children born between
census

you aren't sure of something then you should ask!!
> Is the 1901 census online complete? I ask because several of my families ,
with unusual names, have disappeared. They are still alive because I have
the gravestone dates but they are not listed on the census. I haven't
limited my search by area or by name, just gender. I guess some of the men
could be on fishing vessels but I don't know how to check them without
knowing the name of the craft.
