This is one of at least two lists relevant to Dorset, another being Wessex-L.

Though in fact both of these lists are hosted on Rootsweb, by no
means all the UK genealogy mailing lists are Rootsweb-based.

The URL I provided for GENUKI's list of mailing lists
(http://www.genuki.org.uk/indexes/MailingLists.html) is not limited
to Rootsweb - rather it is a listing that is maintained in
cooperation with John Fuller's definitive "Genealogy Resources on the
Internet" (http://www.rootsweb.com/~jfuller/gen_mail.html).
