I am interested to know if anyone in this group has had any first hand
experience with inquiries to the North Devon Journal in Barnstaple. I
have thoroughly examined their website, and it does not allow for
e-mailing, other than to the company which owns that particular paper
among others. I am at a dead end (bad pun) with one of my relatives,
and would like to inquire about a death notice over a period of several
years...or notice of marriage. Looks like I will have to snail mail
them, and there is no indication on their site if they have archives
from the 1800's. Haven't asked these questions to my contact at the
North Devon Records Office, however. Many thanks- Liz Stirling
