Hullo to all,
I am a newbie on this list and am hoping someone may be able to help me.
My ancestor, James Frederick Hill, born Upton. Somerset abt 1830, came to Australia about the 1850s. I am wondering if there is someone who may be able to do a look up for me to see if his name is on any passenger lists.He may have come out earlier than 1850.His father was Thomas Hill and mother Jane[Harding] Hill. He wasn't mentioned on the 1851 census , which contained the members of the Hill family . The census place was given as Upton, Tiverton, Devonshire.Thank you .
