Hello everybody,

I have been following, with great interest, everybody's postings for a few months and thought it was about time I joined in and posted my own.
I am researching the CHARLES family of East Devon. I have hit a brick wall with my g/grandfather: Can't find a baptism anywhere !

Charles CHARLES (born Withycombe Raleigh 1808-11) and married to Ruth WARDEN.

I know they had 11 children:

Ruth b.1834
Elizabeth b.1837
Ann b.1839
Sarahann b.1841 Withycombe Raleigh
Edward b.1843 " "
George b.1845 " "
Henry b.1847 Littleham
Alfred b. 1848 Withycombe Raleigh
Emma b.1851 " "
William b. 1855 Sidmouth
Frederick b.1859 " (my Grandfather)

I also know that in later years Edward moved to S. Wales and Alfred and William moved to Torquay.

Any information or advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
