A microfilm version of Gentlemen's Magazine exists. Try checking whether
your local library (or the library of a nearby university) has a set. Or
if it can get one via interlibrary loan. Almost certainly that will be
cheaper than ordering a photocopy through the mail, and you'd be able to
see what else was in that issue of the magazine, which might add some
interesting "color".
