Hi Lora

Thanks for having a look at the 1851 CD for me. I checked this out in
the past and there didn't seem to be any connection with my family.

I think Richard may have died but I can't find his death on the GRO. The
only one I found was at Stoke Dameral
4 Dec 1857 but he was 63 years at death. My Richard at North Petherwin
was given as 60 years on the 1841 census.

Of the chidren, Grace has emigrated to New Zealand and Ann has married
John CADDY. Richard was living with them on the 1841 census at North
Petherwin but I can't find them on the 1851 and I don't know where they
have gone. Pity as I would like to know where Ann says she was born. The
OPC Cornwall, for North Petherwin could not find the baptisms of the
children there (though she did not have all the years) and Ann said she
wasn't born in Devon.

I don't know of other children though there was a Samuel WROATH in North
Petherwin on the 1841 census and he too said he wasn't born in Devon. He
was 25 years. He could well be another child of Richard and Ann.

Thank you for trying to help me.

Regards
