William VENNING born 6 Jun 1839, Altarnun, Cornwall, youngest son of William Hender VENNING and Mary Luskey PETER is listed in the 1881 Census as a Torpedo Artificer aboard "HMS Vernon" in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

He was married to Emma Jane, (surname unknown) who was born c 1853 in Devonport. They had the following children.
