Hi Claire-Louise,
A HOLLEY family was listed in the 1851 Burlescombe census next to my NORMAN
family in Westleigh!
Here are some pre-1840 burials at Burlescombe, which may be of interest.
Ann HOLLY, aged 41, was buried on 27th February 1814.
William HOLLEY, aged 7 weeks, was buried on 16th February 1817.
William HOLLEY, aged 33, was buried on 3rd January 1819.
Grace HOLLEY, aged 71, was buried on 6th August 1820.
James HOLLEY, aged 40, was buried on 23rd July 1826.
William HOLLEY, aged 1 month, was buried on 18th February 1827.
Elizabeth HOLLEY, aged 7, was buried on 30th March 1828.
George HOLLEY, Snr, aged 74, was buried on 30th March 1828.
Sarah HOLLEY, aged 6, was buried on 1st July 1832.
Jane HOLLEY, aged 24, was buried on 7th August 1836.
Thomas HOLLEY, aged 66, was buried on 19th February 1837.
Mary Ann HOLLEY, aged 1, was buried on 30th April 1837.
