I note that several people have referred to this site recently. It is
certainly a great site in that one can search the indexes for the years
covered. The paper indexes have to be searched year by year. As regard
getting to the articles themselves, one has to be a subscriber in order to
do so. I was lucky in that I obtained a two week trial period of full
access, as I am a semi-professional genealogist. Access to the actual
atricles is great ! I picked up a number of very useful references to my
wife's ancestors and various other people and events. It is also grat
background reading for the history and social conditions of the time.
It could be worthwhile applying for a trial period if anyone is particularly
wanting to view the actual articles. I dont know what criteria
Chadwyck-Healey use to decide who gets a trial but nothing ventured, nothing
gained !
