Thanks to rootsweb's publication of so much very helpful reference data, I
have been able to find George Symonds at the above address in the 1864
Plymouth section of the Directory of Plymouth, Stonehouse, Devonport, Stoke
and Morice town.

I would dearly like to know if he was at that address (or any other address
for that matter) three years earlier in the C1861and, in particular, did this
person have a wife (Mary J. Payne b. at Tamerton, plus son George aged 3 or
4, born at Exeter).
