Hello,

I am a new member, i am researching my EASTERBROOK family from Crediton, Devon. My Gt,Gt,Grandfather, William (Married to Mary Ann DALLING) moved from Crediton to Exeter (St.Mary Major, Parish) around 1830 and settled in West Street. Then for some strange reason they then moved to Tormoham (Torquay) around about 1842'ish, my Gt. Grandfather, Edwin was born on Fore Street, Barton St.Marychurch on 24th February 1861.
He married Emily Sarah BOWDEN, in 1888, whose father, George owned and ran The Masons Arms public house in Masons Row (which is now called Laburnum Street, and the pub is now The Sportsman's Arms). Edwin was number 10 of 11 children, his older brother John Married Charlotte Mary Black STONE and had 9 children. My problem at the moment is that most of Edwin's siblings were female and most of John's children were female as well, and very difficult to track down.
I would appreciate any help or assistance anyone can offer, i am more than willing to share the information i have gathered, a list of other names i am interested in follows:

DALLING, HAMMETT/HAMMET, JURY (Torquay or Chudleigh), BOWDEN, SERCOMBE (Doddiscombesleigh or Exeter & Bromley,Kent), STONEMAN, CHURCHWARD, HITCHING (possibly Essex), LANE, STONE, CURNEW.
