Further to my message about Hugh Peskett's book on Devon & Cornwall Registers. I should apologise for not giving the ISBN etc.
It is: 0 901853 23 2. The second impression is dated 1982. Published by Devon & Cornwall Record Society (D&CRS).
I couldn't find it on amazon. com. I bought mine in the Truro Bookshop.
Can I make it clear that the book covers not just those in Plymouth, but all churches in the County of Devon and the country of Cornwall [ Please note the distinction,in view of recent explanations on what constitutes a shire & a county. :-) ].
