Hello

My ancestor George Gooden was born on 15 Sept 1837 in Somerset and I believe at one time lived in Compton Dundon and/or Taunton and/or Wells. He emigrated to Australia on the Windermere arriving in Geelong in December 1854. His
occupation on the passenger list was "farm lad".

His parents were James GOODEN and Anne LARCOMBE.

I am subscribed to the Somerset mailing lists but thought I would branch out as well to surrounding areas as it is quite possible the family moved around.

I have no other information about him in England. I would be interested to know please if anyone had any information on GOODEN or LARCOMBE.
