Hi Maggie,
Most of my Sanders family came to Ontario around 1865. I can find some of them on the Devon census for 1851
(but not all) and I have info on some of them settling or being married in Ontario in 1865. I don't have any
info on the Lake family except what is mentioned in my ggrandfather's diary.

P.M. Brussells to Wingham 14
Saw Baseball Clinton - Wingham
score C-6 & W-5 Good play.
15 Fine weather. Saw Flossie Campbell.
John Worked. Wait for mail.
P.M. drove to Fox farms, Armstrongs
Blakes & to Isaac Lakes for Tea
16 Leslie Lake Nurshing son Charlie Lake
& wife Eleanor. Mrs Robinson
visitor here. I entertained.
Eleanor & I took Mrs. Robinson
to Albert Whitfields & her mother
Mrs. Englar each home.
17 Visited Leslies & scared Charlie
by Ventriloquism. Eleanor took
Ettie, Charlie & I to Mr & Mrs Bruce
(Beretia Mildred Speiran). 4 P.M.
18 Visited at Ettie Lakes. Leslie &
wife Eleanor & Ettie took me
to Dave Sanders. Atwood,
the Loves there. Had singing
Nellie (Mrs. Wes Sanders) & Eleanor (Eleanor Rabb?)
Mr & Mrs Black (sister) & Mrs Rabb
mother called to see me
