Hi John,
Could you please tell us all HOW you were lucky enough to find deeds of
property from the past?
Was the property still owned within the family? Or is there somewhere one
could look on the offchance for these deeds?

I have been lucky that some of the TURNER family wills survived in
extract/handwritten duplicate form. There is however a frustratingly long
list in my research of wills that are listed as having existed but must
have gone up in flames. From the wills I have seen I have quite a few names
and locations of farms owned by the family in the late 1700s. Do i have
enough to go on to find the deeds?

Hopefully yours
