Hello,

Being new to the list I thought I would let others know what name I am researching in Devon.

I am researching the surname AUSTIN. My gggreat grandfather William Austin was born on April 15, 1826 in Plymouth, Devon, England. His obituary says that he emmigrated to the United States when he was 18 years old.

I don't know anymore about him or his family in England.

He was married to Mary Ann Day on December 25, 1851 in Green County, Wisconsin. And moved to Antelope County, Nebraska in the 1880's. William Austin died December 10, 1910 also in Antelope County, Nebraska.

Any information anyone could provide me about him or his family would be very greatly appreciated.

I am very happy to have found this list.
