Have checked the maps for you and it does appear that I was correct in the
location of Park Place. It is now part of Teignmouth Road, and was the
end nearest to the Havelock Arms (now called The Artful Dodger). If you go
to WWW.old-maps.co.uk select Devon as County then scroll down to St.
Marychurch. I think the first map to come up will have Great Hill at the
top left hand. Scroll to the bottom of this map and scroll right and you
will see Park Place right at the bottom. (note the writing appears to be on
the opposite side of the road. The small piece of road entering just to the
left of the name is Park Road.
