A comprehensive index, on 5 CD ROM disks, is available, from, LDS. The cost
is modest, only $15.00 US$ for everything.

This is an automated index of birth, christening records for England, Wales,
Scotland, Ireland for various localities 1538-1888. There are about 5
million names involved. Not all localities are covered, for all times.

I also assume that you can review and maybe even order this package from the
Church Latter Day Saints and there many different locations throughout the
world?

One should check over the minimum systems requirement - Pentium, Windows and
at least 25 MB hard disk space. There are no death records - as you may all
know, cost jurisdictions prohibit the public access of death records, for
privacy reasons, until the person involved is 100 years old or more - pretty
stupid when one realizes that in all of the USA there are only 22,000 people
alive 100 years of age or more!
