Back again after a spell! Could somebody tell me or direct me regarding
Honiton lace? I am currently searching for my great grandmother Amy
PILE, whom my mother claimed made this type of lace and indeed seems to
have been the occupation of her female rellies. As a diversion (while I
tear my hair out trying to find g, grandma PILE) I thought I might find
out more about Honiton lace. My grandfather used to keep a small
sample of such lace in the back of his fob watch - both watch and lace
now long gone! Amy PILE was from Budleigh, born 1829 approx.
