No names here - but if you take the appropriate menu options from this
URL it will give you an indication of where the records are held:

If he was an officer then there should be mention of him in the Army
List, although I'm not sure where you would find a copy for that
period - if they are anything like the Navy List they are/were printed
3/4 times a year. A "good" reference library should carry copies I
would have thought eg one of your State libraries?
