I am not the "Australian" mentioned - but I have just enjoyed myself
knowing that I contributed to the Pigot 1830 project. My small share in the
work was five pages and, although on the pension, would willingly have
contributed to the cost of photo-copies / airmail to enable me to join in.
The point is that "many hands do make light work" - look at the
small share and how little the photo-copies would cost so that one person
may contribute and achieve for the overall project.
Even a major census can be broken down to similar sized "parcels" -
there must be hundreds of us on this list and if we each provide the cost of
our initial copies to work from, the rest is easy and by email...
What are we waiting for?
