Have you checked the Devon surnames list - details of which were in the
Welcome message, and which can also be found via GENUKI/Devon under
Genealogy? (I note that there are entries for all three of the names you
give - one or two for areas that include Chagford.)

I would also suggest that, if you have not already done so, you now submit
these names to the Surnames List.
