Due to the miserable self-righteous reaction to a bit of light humour
on this list I have unsubscribed. This means that I shall not be
indexing any more books for Devon or looking up census records, visiting
the local studies office etc.

I had e-mail from members around the world saying how their day had been
brightened but I suppose it takes all sorts. I'll concentrate on
helping members of other lists instead.

You have now lost a resident of Devon who enjoyed helping fellow list
members.
