Hi Ann,

I am researching the LEMON surname from the Barstaple/Bideford area and
there was a firm of Millwrights there by the name of GARNISH & LEMON.

In 1880 JOHN ROCK LEMON & PHILIP GARNISH became tenants of 12 Pilton St,
Barnstaple for their business of Garnish & Lemon. (Millwrights) The
building was bought later from Samuel Berry.

I have no further information on this firm. JOHN ROCK LEMON was born
circa 1849 in Marwood.

If anyone has information on either the firm of GARNISH & LEMON or on
JOHN ROCK LEMON I would be pleased to hear from them.
