Following my announcement a couple of weeks ago about my Guernsey butchers
site, I have made many updates.

Many of the butchers families in the island during the 19th century were of
Devon / Dorset origin.

The details of the following families were included when I first published
the site : FOOTE, BASKFILL, LAMBLE, WATERMAN, GARDNER and HAMMOND.

It now has been added to and extended to cover : BOUTCHER, PARSONS, RADDEN,
PERRETT/PARROTT, HEYWARD/HAYWARD, LAMBERT, BEST, SHERWILL, COOPER, PAYNE,
HELLIER/HILLIER.

It also has an name index to all individuals mentioned on the site.

I have more details than are published on the web site, so if you are
connected to any of these families - email me !
