Hi:

This is to announce that a complete transcription of the chapter on the
history of Exeter (approx 300 kbytes in total), from White's 1850 Devon
Gazetteer, is now available in GENUKI/Devon. A link to it is provided under
"History" on:

http://www.cs.ncl.ac.uk/genuki/DEV/Exeter/

The entire text will be indexed (within the next few days) by the search
engine used to provide the Devon Search facility, so this will then provide
a quick means of checking for the occurrence of, for example, particular
personal and place names.
