Hello!

I actually live in Switzerland, so it is easy to make a quick survey of who
is on the Net here.

There are five different online addresses in the name of BOVET in
Switzerland. The first names given - Jean, Jean-Marc, Laurent etc. -
indicate that they almost certainly come from the Suisse Romande region,
which is, of course, francophone.

I am afraid I do not know enough about French or Swiss genealogy to say
whether the name is indigenous to Switzerland or whether it came originally
from France.

I shall have to make further enquiries.

Best wishes

Salaam Blackmore
