Thanks for posting the addresses of the phone books - I have just
discovered a whole new way to track down living descendents of the
families I am looking for & how I can spend much more time doing
genealogy on the internet....what fun!!

By the way the names I am looking for in Devon so far are SMART,
LESSLIE, GLOVER, PADDON, AYERS, so if anyone has any leads would be
greatly interested...
