Hello! I am new to this

My (8th) G.Grandfather Reverend Gregory PHILLIPS, Vicar of Phillack,
Cornwall in 1614, left 10/- to the poor of Allington, Devon, possibly his
birth place? Would there be parish records available to check back this
far? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
