Hi All,

These are my surname interests that I am working on:

GRIFFIN - anybody researching this name please e-mail me as I can't find
my 3rd great-grandfather (JOHN b. 1824) in
CORNWALL or DEVONSHIRE and his uncles or brothers AARON
& ROBERT GRIFFIN. Here in Ontario
Archives Records JOHN was born in either county as
recorded by cousins and his son. On JOHN's Death
Certificate his son reported born in CORNWALL, ENGLAND.
But his wife's brother in law reported he was born in DEVONSHIRE on JOHN's
daughter's Death Certificate in 1910. The brother in laws family were from
DEVONSHIRE (PERKINS).

PERKINS - JOHN (brother in laws-father) from DEVONSHIRE.

BARKWELL - WILLIAM b. 1809 MILTON DAMEREL, DEVONSHIRE believe he married
MARY ANN GRIFFIN (sister of
JOHN GRIFFIN from above)

All three of these families came from ENGLAND to either PORT HOPE,
ONTARIO or COBOURG, ONTARIO in the early 1800's. I would like to contact
with anyone who has info on any of these families as have a fairly good
grip on where they went in Ontario but I have no records of their
background in DEVONSHIRE or CORNWALL.

My GRIFFIN family file spans some 5000-8000 names in North America
but would like to find town of origination in CORNWALL or DEVON. I am
eager to talk with anyone researching GRIFFIN's in CORNWALL or DEVON.
